“The word yoga comes from Sanskrit, the language of ancient India. It means union, integration, or wholeness. It is an approach to health that promotes the harmonious collaboration of the human being’s three components: body, mind, and spirit. “
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
The Bhagavad Gita
Upon completion of my 200 hour Yoga teacher Training I was honored with the Sanskirt name Natavari which stems from the origin Nataraja, the Lord of the Dance. This suits me well as I shine brightest from the inside out as I express myself through movement and dance. My movement becomes meditation and my dance my prayer. I integrate my education as a Dance/ Movement Therapist with my Yoga teacher training to bring this resource for self study, expression and transformation to my clients.
